Ah, tower climbing. Someone at Ubisoft must have really loved towers and climbing them.

the guy who did the music did an interview on npr, its a n interesting listen.

That was a strikingly political remark. It reminds me when a big business gets regulated and the owner comes out and says it will hurt communities and jobs.

It wont impact the game itself in anyway. When they did it to the DOTA market many years ago essentially killing it completely the game was just fine.

This is a common argument against rule changes. Look at the gun lobby (not making this political, just noting the similar arguments).

The average CSGO player won’t give a damn, nor will they be negatively affected.

I noticed this too, but for me it’s only on compete.kotaku.com after checking my notifications.

Mario Kart 8 on Wii U was pretty successful with its DLC, in addition to MagicMass’s point about Smash.

And we wonder why shady businesspeople always seem to go into politics.

Asl long as they arent obnoxious about DLC I don’t have much of an issue. It’s when games are put out at like 50% complete, and they then charge premiums to make it an actual game.

Totally...

That’s exactly what it is. You should see how insane some of the bullshit the bigger non-pro CS:GO names are making up desperately trying to rally non-traders to their side. They’re all heavily embedded in skin gambling, betting and trading sites.

They got tons of money with the smash 4 dlc

basically my reaction to all of this

85 comments at the time of posting this, and NONE of them are talking about Shroud, but rather their own nostalgia for other games. Which is pretty much the perfect example of how badly this game has pancaked, despite being developed for 5 years, and persistent (no server wipes) since July 2016.

Played with a Rein in comp, who basically suicide charged into the enemy team, and then cussed at Mercy the rest of the match for basically not committing suicide with him. Thankfully the rest of our team took our healer’s side, but we all got cussed out for it.

I pretty much main support, and my general tactic is “if you play recklessly and refuse to stick with the healer, I’m not chasing after you.” I’ve died way to many times trying to heal a Reinhardt who decided to charge into a 1v5, haha.

Usually in OW its because your team is too stupid to stay in a group. Can’t heal the team if you are all spread the hell out over the map.

Yep. And too many people don’t take care of themselves by disengaging and going for medkits.

I once had a Roadhog yell at me “Where were you?!?” when he died when he decided to take on 4 members of the other team as once. I was actively healing him the entire time. This was back when Mercy had rez as an ult - later in the match, I got a 4 person rez, and my team then killed their whole team except their
