Check out Mooseman on Steam, a short game influenced by Limbo and Never Alone and based on folklore of a small ethnicity which became a part of Russia

Now playing

Be sure to check out Dandara too by Brazilian developer Long Hat House!

I know it’s not the same as a non-European based culture game (actually, it’s the complete opposite), but Valiant Hearts is a game that does a similiar thing for WWI Europe. Even the art-style evokes early 20th century Franco-Belgian comics. It’s much much closer to Never Alone than Battlefield I.

Some of my best friends are behind this game. The sacrifices they’ve made to make it happen are incredibly brave and inspiring. That Lienzo made a game about a culture that is almost forgotten in a city quiere nobody believed in them should be enough to buy Mulaka, but having played it in its entirety, I can assure

Pelican Town actually being Tristram from Diablo might make some sort of sense.

Yeah, just a couple years ago, before unlimited data (or effectively unlimited now that the cap is higher than I would ever use), this would’ve been 12% of my internet for the month.

Not all of the rural areas are lucky. I live in a small town of ~10k pay the highest rates in the region for internet, while it’s not a quota cap I’m lucky to get 10 hours of consistent connection. If you complain they whine about how difficult internet is to get in the mountains. Meanwhile one neighboring town has

Yep, you nailed it right on the head. Density is to low to be worth the time to run the infrastructure and lobby the local government to kick out the competition. Another thing we do have is choice - last time I looked, our town had Frontier, Comcast, and my local ISP as choices. I believe Comcast may now offer gig

Lucky for me I basically live in rural hillbilly USA but get a gigabit fiber line to my backdoor. My town of ~12,000 has a municipal ISP that had the foresight to run fiber years ago. It’s rare but we do exist...

Woah! Her range of styles is awesome!! I love these FINA ART posts...I followed pretty much every single featured artist so far. Thanks Luke!

Next time someone tells me history is boring I’ma tell them that there was an elite fighting squad of women called The Amazons who fought for the vote using Sherlock Holmes Karate.

It’s funny how a lot of the supposed third world countries like mine (México), doesn’t have to deal with any of that quota-ed bullshit.

Having the demo weigh over 30gb is really stupid. Especially for people like me that buy physical copies.

It’s usually easier to do because removing the entire rest of the game is a programming and asset management nightmare, especially in an open-world game.

Nani!?

I achieved victory for my first game. That is something you do not see in FTL, but it certainly did not come as a cake walk. There were many times during the final battle where I thought I’d lose for sure when the Vex targeted enough power grids that could result in the game over. The looming threat of failure appeals

It’s not an accident, considering the Russian soldiers in Syria are more like mercenaries. Propaganda for the cash-front.
