It is too much for normal people, but this seems to be what the core Destiny player wants - endless leveling grind where you need to play every night, you get new drops, and your stats go up incrementally. This was one of the things they tried to change going from D1 to D2, and it went over like a lead balloon, so

Woo! SR3 was fantastic in its own way (and all downhill from that as they lost control of the ‘wacky’), but SR2 has always been my favorite mix of po-faced gangsta posturing, humor, and mechanics, even more so than GTA: San Andreas.  I will be firing it up for one more time when they release it.

I didn’t think there was any normal game dumb enough to insist on motion controls after Lair, but I guess that’s the curse of the Wii.

Humans will never take a disaster seriously till it happens once. I’ve been there. The Earth has been there!

Unfortunately, ep 2 wasn’t nearly as good as ep 1 (though it had some moments).  There were later parts with some wire puzzles that would have your wife filing papers.

I loved that about Broken Age - they made sure to have some funny voice clip for whatever you tried to do that failed, so it was actually worth trying to combine everything in your inventory with everything else.

So Blizzard’s posted a grovelling apology... to China.

If nobody can actually view the ‘real’ version of the movie that considerably adds to the cult mystique.

Bungie has escaped the Activision death star, they’re no longer associated with them.

My first thought. Rabbids are like cockroaches.

I don’t have this drive, but I do have a 14 TB RAID. Once a week, I hook it up, turn it on, and run a script that backs up every single file from every single machine I have to it, overnight.

Konami used to be fantastic before they decided they could make more money on pachinko and mobile crap than on video games.  I’m sure he has no trouble thanking the old Konami.

It’s worth remembering that the Chinese government (aka Tencent) did ActiBlizz CEO Bobby Kotick a huge favor in helping repurchase the stocks from Vivendi in 2013. They still own about $2.5B worth of ActiBlizz last time I looked.

So he’s going for a ghetto Scientology then.

This was one of the very last games I backed on Kickstarter/IGG, back when I was realizing it was almost always a fool’s game to do so. But I needed this to get made. It’s been a hell of a long time and I’d basically given up on it at various points...

The best way to play Call of Duty Mobile is on my dick.

Oh god yes. After DQB2 I was jonesing for more DQB, so I went back and played DQB1 and realized just how much better DQB2 is.

The game is wonderful, but... yeah, fishing is just resource gathering.

Old time love for Breath of Fire 3 and 4. Those had the best fishing games I’d played as a minigame up till FF XV (which definitely deserves its place here).

Oh, so you’re the guy who caused this (by buying the XB1S).  Thanks Joe!
