If you squint and he grew a beard I could just about see him as the sexy *koff* new Hamburglar

Unfortunately, they really are everywhere. I wouldn’t even be surprised if one popped up in a lake (though this has not happened yet).

We’ll find them.

Robble Robble

Sounds like a few string theory theorists are terrified at the idea that after this long string theory might make a testable prediction.

There goes their chance to be published in Science or Nature.

Just from appearance alone, North, West, and South are obvious winners.

“Twitch streamer acts like a Twitch streamer”

even I will readily admit that Tom Brady didn’t luck his way into those titles.

I’ve been playing quite a bit and felt no need for any microtransactions. I even forget the store is there. Same as with Origins.

I think the games have changed more than you realize. There’s not a lot of parkour. And climbing is trivial in Odyssey, as it was in Origins, so there’s not much consequence to falling. Just jump at any rock face and you can climb it. It’s also near impossible to fall unless you force a jump, and sometimes it doesn’t

Geeze, don’t do that to a Gamecube controller. Those things are precious and somewhat rare now.

Ad blocker like Ublock Origin. The sites then occasionally whine about whitelisting them, but if you do whitelist they abuse the shit out of you with sliders, popups, and autoplay ads so NO.

This isn’t ‘Greek Mountain Climber: The Game’. It’s a game where you stab people to death. Figuring out how to traverse a mountain safely is not a core part of playing the game, so screwing it up is not a big deal.

There are ramifications, just not in this part of the game. Hiking over mountains is not the core experience, though you can do it. If this were actually a game called ‘Greek Mountain Climber’ then maybe you’d want some ‘realism’ there.

The good new is that they DO end. There are a limited number of them, as you can see by going to the mercenaries tab. It just feels like it at first. :)

Not yet, because these are all in the beggar stage where they’re desperately trying to get traction. If at some point one of them ends up a winner you will most certainly be paying a monthly fee then hourly/gigabytely overage charges.

Oh yeah, those mercenaries are crazy now. High rate random encounters. I've had several fights that just keep adding though nothing at this level yet. I can hope.

I like the one or two points (gotta admit I just skimmed this) where he just needs to cross through a camp and the Athenians are ‘NO’. And then the lions, tigers wolves and bears.  A man can’t just go for a pleasant walk around here.

Well this sure looks terrible for Google after they’ve been so completely, sanctimoniously holier than thou exposing other companys’ security flaws with Project Zero. And now they’ve been covering this up for months and can’t say anything useful about it except that somehow, conveniently, they fixed it just before
