If you go look at reviews of a random game (I just clicked on https://store.steampowered.com/app/696530/Lake_Ridden/) the reviews are usually pretty well written, if conversational and sometimes memeridden.

If you read the whole thing there’s a whole lot of incompetence in execution going on for what was sold as a finished, shippable design. The batteries weren’t the only issue.
