Omg I watched that movie on the plane once, absolutely THE. WORST. WIGS. I have ever seen. Truly a feat of cinematic history. 

The trailers have been mildly terrifying to me personally (lol) but from a technical/animation perspective I think what they’re doing is pretty damn awesome so I’m kind of tempted to go see it just for that.

I think the putting it across the room is the thing I need to try. I *wake up* just fine — often even before my alarm goes off. It’s just the getting up and getting out of bed part that trips me up. Most days I wind up laying there looking at crap on my phone for an hour until the absolute last minute.

I think that largely depends on how you’re approaching the job search though. If your main goal is simply to maximize your chances of getting an offer for the job, then your advice is probably the safe course.

I may be shamed for it, but my go-to quick at home guacamole method is just to mix the mashed avocado with some kind of store-bought salsa and then the various spices/seasonings, lime juice, etc. 

Yeah, that’s what I buy -- really just because that’s the brand we always had in the house when I was growing up, so it’s the one that I recognized. But then I was happy to learn that it’s also a legit good brand, haha.
