I think that largely depends on how you’re approaching the job search though. If your main goal is simply to maximize your chances of getting an offer for the job, then your advice is probably the safe course.

I may be shamed for it, but my go-to quick at home guacamole method is just to mix the mashed avocado with some kind of store-bought salsa and then the various spices/seasonings, lime juice, etc. 

Yeah, that’s what I buy -- really just because that’s the brand we always had in the house when I was growing up, so it’s the one that I recognized. But then I was happy to learn that it’s also a legit good brand, haha.

Have you ever tried that Baby Foot stuff? It’s horrifying and yet also kind of magic at the same time. These booties with some kind of goopy gel inside them meant to give you smooth (like a baby) feet, you wear the booties for a half hour or so and then rinse the stuff off.

Weirdly enough, LA has a thing where it’s not uncommon that an apartment doesn’t come with a fridge. Many of them do of course, but it’s common enough that if I’m looking at apartment listing photos and don’t actually see the fridge, I would ask to see if it came included or not.
