YES — this is the biggest draw for me. Esp with stuff like rice, I typically just buy it frozen or that minute rice stuff (which incidentally is really good!). Because it would probably take me (living alone) a year to go through a 2lb bag, there’s just no point.

We had NO IDEA that saying we created this new drink would cause people people to think we actually meant we were taking credit for it --- I mean really, who could have POSSIBLY predicted such a wacky turn of events.

In Japan, Dominos used to offer this promotion where you could solve a trivia kind of question in order to get a coupon for your next order. The hardest level got you a 50% off coupon, and these were actually quite legitimately difficult logic/reasoning puzzles that you only had 60 seconds or whatever to solve.

Yeah my roommate and I used to take advantage of the meal plan to get snacks at the Law School. The regular undergrad cafeterias were all your standard buffet kind of setup — but undergrads could also swipe in at the Law School caf, which was more like a store/restuarant so one swipe got you a certain dollar amount…

Yeah a few years ago my dad developed gout— in his hand/wrist, oddly enough. He’s had some trouble with high bp/cholesterol in the past but this was when he had started eating really healthy, working out with a personal trainer. ... dropped a lot of weight. So it was very strange.

And, as others have pointed out, the problem with the nacho table is that the chips are gonna get all soggy and gross.

I mean, this isn’t an entirely new concept. At many izakaya in Japan for example, it’s common to have tablets at the table where you place your order, and the server just comes by to deliver food/drinks and clear plates. It works well.
