The writers room at the place where I work has TWO WINDOWS

Yup, this is me! I’ve been really liking my hello fresh subscription, been doing it since about August or September? So a fair few months now.

Omg The Orphanage is SO GOOD. Watched it for the first time in broad daylight, 11:30am on a Sunday morning and it STILL scared the crap out of me!

Really! That’s so strange, because honestly my first thought after seeing the trailers for this (haven’t watched the film yet) was basically “This looks cool and all, but isn’t Mr Knightley way too young???!?!”

And kind of amazingly full circle, in retrospect, considering RZ’s latest film role!

Haha, that is so true. I’ve mostly seen it from around the party scene onward, at the earliest.

Yes, or if I’m out with a guy friend and I order beer and he orders tea or soda -- guess who usually gets handed the beer.

Very good fried chicken, and I like their bentos a lot— tho imho their pan (bread) selection is subpar compared to other combinis.

It would probably also be very effective. I had a similar situation (although as an adult). I moved abroad after college and lived there for 12 years. I didn’t actually have a US credit card for that whole time, just one from my bank in the country where I was living. But I was an authorized user on my parents’ Amex

I felt so sorry for Victoria P., she made that awful awkward joke and then later when she had the one on one time with him, he totally didn’t remember her AT. ALL. So then she had to explain the whole cringey joke all over again... ugh.

That’s why a common technique right before a bodybuilding competition is to eat a whole bunch of chocolate, because apparently (not sure if it’s due to the caffeine or the sugar or what but) that helps make the veins to stand out more.

Haha, yes the “and you just started calling him Dad” part is great.

Same reason why being in an airport makes it OK to drink alcohol at 7am.

I just watched the Hawaii Christmas movie with Lea Michele that aired last night (ABC? Fox? I forget)

Really? I feel like there’s a different nuance between ?! and !?

Yup. In the US for whatever reason, it’s only published with both “parts” in one volume.

Haha, that’s amazing. I totally remember Accelerated Reading and those quizzes!! In 3rd grade, for whatever reason, I decided I was going to spend the entire year reading ONLY the AR books, I refused to read anything that didn’t have that little yellow dot on the spine (that’s how they were marked in our school

You have to also remember though, that Ancient Egypt spans an absolutely enormous range of history— 3000 years from its formation until it was absorbed into the Roman empire.

All I remember about Wintergreen life savers is trying to make them spark, like on campouts and stuff. (Other people remember this, right??)
