I love the show and have a lot of nostalgia for the early seasons. But you’re absolutely right that it had a lot of problems with diversity, representation of female characters, some light misogyny... This is true. I generally feel that seasons 6-8 have some of the weakest overall mytharc/storytelling of the series (felt it really started getting interesting again around mid-season 9). BUT, that said, those middle seasons still have some of my favorite individual episodes and/or characters.
