Completely agree. I mean, it speaks to our general culture of “I must deny myself things that I want in order to be thin enough to be considered sexy/beautiful” — and it’s sad that people (women) feel such pressure to be a certain way all the time.

Definitely. Also along those lines, I recently discovered a Thai place nearby that does an amazing tom ka gai soup (and they deliver!!).
They do mention a love triangle ... Could be something like, she thinks she’s in love with the foreign exchange student because she’s so excited to finally meet a guy who is actually taller than her that it sort of blinds her to the other ways in which he’s not really The One.
