moonstompers is just a compilation of all (or at least most) of their ska songs, not a new album. but if you like that side of em, go for it

the record was recorded in one long continuous take and chopped into tracks afterward, maybe re-ordered for the album, but no touch-ups or overdubs or rerecordings. it's really sloppy and unhinged and full of real, genuine energy and on the brink of falling apart at any minute… and that's why it's so much better than

picket signs made by special agent Will Graham

damn that strike for making us get that ONE bad Transformers movie!!!

i don't know what you're trying to say. FOX has literally nothing to lose since everybody gets it whether they want to or not, for free. nobody's gonna be dropping it, cause they can't.

i feel like they probably would have mentioned FX if they had FX shows, since it's more 'prestige' programming and people actually pay for access to it. that, and the fact that they also mentioned ABC make me think it's just regular old FOX shows, 90% of which are already over or end their season in a week or two.

i bet FOX and ABC are shaking in their boots, people might watch a Modern Family or Brooklyn 99 episode two weeks early and cancel their subscription to the free, over-the-air channels that everyone in the country has access to at all times

ahh but techincally that's archive footage from 1989 so,reallyasdfhaghakjghadf

Science/Visions is a jam. i wish they'd do more in that style, but they have a few really good B-sides with a similar sound, that little bit darker sorta synthy 80s goth vibe

apparently it has:

an "all-consuming" game in a dystopia? do they have to eat a photo of their iron-fisted dictator every day?

Trump confessing to the camera that he wants to drive into the river and finally find the solitude he desperately craves as the water fills his lungs and life slips from his body isn't dark enough?

killer, didn't know about that search. only knew about the search between two people.

yeah, i originally listed that and Kong: Skull Island and a few others, but then it became like a whole thing, i couldn't be bothered. he's in a lot of stuff. i think he's great

they do look a lot like older/younger versions of each other, but going in the wrong direction chronologically for the show

he was in the first season of True Detective, i assume that's definitely what you meant by first season

spoiler for something that i believe can be seen in a pre-season promo for the show:

yeah, that's a fair point. some people just stop keeping up with new technology after a certain point, though. it's not something that would particularly surprise me in real life, and definitely not the most outlandish thing to happen in the show.

well thank ya. there are probably more though, i only learned about Peter Breitmeyer (the tough guy, hunter, next-door neighbor in A Serious Man) last night when i also discovered that his character in season 1 (Gus Grimley's superior) is the young "shit cop" that Lou hates in season 2. with the smaller characters and

wrote this out elsewhere in the comments, but here's a copy + paste. the most definitive list i can come up with of Fargo TV / Coen films crossover:
