(gives Crenshaw some serious side-eye)

Yeah, that was all there back then too, though.

I’ve resisted the temptation to just try a bit of WoW Classic so far, but if they ever offer a WotLK version my resolve might crumble.

I suppose that’s probably true - it’s not action-packed enough to be a blockbuster, but too bloody/awful to be a pure character drama either. Now that I think about it, it would be a good target for a very short limited HBO-type series (think Chernobyl) or a prestige Netflix movie (think Bird Box), rather than a

“threatening to escalate a verbal confrontation into a physical one to the point that a Secret Service agent intervened”

That’s enough steps to make the claim total bullshit, though, Steph.

Not that it’s at all plausible, mind you.

And as much as I love The Mist, Misery is going to be a very tough out in that third-place discussion.

Sure, but it’d be longer than you’d think.

In the book, there’s a great chapter transition where one ends with something like “everything’s going to be just fine” and the next chapter’s title on the following page is “BLOOD EVERYWHERE.”

So we’ve said for literally something like twenty years.  I know this because I’ve had my hopes up for at least that long.  I’m not sure why it’s been so difficult, because it is an absolutely perfect target for movie adaptation.

Trucks was a perfect little nugget of a short horror story, and I will never do anything other than love it to death.

Tom Clancy will get there eventually percentagewise, although his collected works don’t come close to matching the extreme prolificness (not a word) of King.

I don’t know; seeing Drax moved to silent tears by Despacito would be kind of hilarious.

That just raises further questions!

Yes.

Sure, but I’d still love it.

No, dipshit: the authority to call for another referendum would be the exact same authority that allowed for the first one.

The next time I have a weekend away with my buddies I’m going to absolutely start doing this.  Yes, we’re in our 40s.

Yeah, it’s Barron, and Trump absolutely thinks he’s part of the staff.

I had a fried olive (green) appetizer one time at a pretty good restaurant in Chicago.  They were absolutely magnificent.
