The proper question would be asking if we want to keep up memorials to the hijackers, you dumb Fox News motherfuckers.

Same. The only other moment in the show that hit me remotely as hard was Andrea (also done by Todd, that dead-eyed Opie-looking motherfucker!).

I thought Movie IT relied far more (probably too much) on the jump scare as opposing to the more slow trickling horror of the book, so it was less scary after you left the theater than the book is after you close it. Which is fine by me, honestly. They may have relied too much on jump scares but those were some

I have enjoyed watching the wheels come off of “Burner man,” and so I thank you for getting that started.

You seem to be trying to make an argument that is totally unrelated to the one we’re actually having. You are arguing that running is not the best decision - I agree and I’m curious why you seem to think I was saying otherwise. The original question was why a person might still do it - where did we lose you?

Why the fuck did someone decide to make sushi casserole to begin with? Not the wife, I mean whoever came up with it in the first place.

Yikes. Do you think that matters to the person who has the gun pointed at them? “Before you run, sir, please read this synopsis of data from the last couple of years to show that you should not be afraid.”

Although I don’t think it’s necessary to care that much about (Spike) destroying The Mist, since we’ve already had a reasonably good movie made out of that story.

Sure, if you believe them that’s where you’d arrive. I no longer extend the benefit of the doubt to the shifting stories of officers whose bodycams just happen to be turned off during these events (and gosh golly we’re sure investigating the heck out of how that happened!).

Unfortunately, it’s waaaaaayyyyyyy too late for me in this particular thread. :)

But seriously, get the fuck out with that “it’s not on CNN” horseshit.

“Agreed. You run. Until you see police, then you duck and cover and wait for the police to say it’s safe/lead you out.”

At which point they say you were suspiciously hiding behind a slot machine.

A good tactic - I do that while also saluting the flag and singing the Star-Spangled Banner. It’s the only way to truly show respect.

lol

Jesus, I guess I do have to answer the question after all. Because you want to get away from the person/people whom you believe to be a threat to your life.

Will do. Luckily, Google exists, so I’m content here.

ha ha, holy shit. Okay, you go about the rest of your day not knowing what that means, then.

I didn’t say it was laughable, I said it wasn’t a question that could be asked seriously, because the answer as to why a person might do that is so obvious.

That is literally the meaning of the phrase, though. You waiting to decide where you fall on this pending finding out if the story the police have given out is supported by video evidence is the textbook definition of that idiom. If that wasn’t a phrase you’ve heard before, I guess maybe that’s where the disconnect

...the police who are the ones making the claim. Was that seriously not clear to you? Yikes, man. I also enjoy the parts where you say I’m making things up, but you be you.
