You’d be hard pressed to ever convince me that any of the prequels were good at all, let alone good Star Wars, but I can respect that they are that for some people. And a sizable amount of the material that has spun off of them has been very good.

The new Ultimates line seems to be at least peering in that direction? I’m pretty into middle-aged Spider-Man.

I love how they handled the voice actor change on Solar Opposites, but I don’t think they could get away with the same trick here.

I think I was definitely all-in on this show with the season 1 episode where the Catholic schoolkids start obsessively humming the Jonathan Coulton tune about Santa getting high on gummies

KEDEKAI, AS GOD MADE HER

One would not be hard pressed to argue that many of the retconned takes on the quality of the prequels have more to do with spite from angry internet crybabies who still somehow have their underwear in a twist over the first 2 sequels not being their personal fanfics than anything else.

Not sure of the truth of it, but I was told my hybrid didn’t come with a spare for fear of a rear collision driving it into the battery pack?

Oh good lord, you really do think you're some sort of misunderstood truth teller, don't you? A lone prophet, shouting into the woke winds or whatever.

I couldn’t recall who Peck was for the life of me so I wiki’d him and see this at the end of the entry:

Them using the “fulfill” quote as an abolishment of OT law makes no sense to me, especially given the context of the full passage and even moreso the one after -

Sorry, but no. I wasn’t referring to this discussion (although the immediate whining about LGBTQ rep is something worth revisiting); I was referring in fact to your claim that you have been called a Nazi previously. And in spite of all the memes and whining to the contrary, when someone is called a Nazi its at least

“Someone called me a Nazi in the comments”

I don’t know that Logan Roy really feels like an apt comparison? Brian Cox’s protestations aside, the character lasted until 6 episodes from the end of 4 seasons of a show that was ostensibly in large part about succeeding him, it’s not like he was finally going to kick it in the very last hour.

So what's going on with Yasmin Finney? It really felt like they were setting her up to have a more significant role after the specials, but it doesn't seem to be playing out that way.

This is entirely wrong because the correct answer is clearly Schitt’s Creek‘s David and Patrick

So glad I gave up on these shows shortly after Negan showed up. Not because of what Negan did, I read the comics so that was no surprise; and even arguably justified in the context of the show, because, as has been covered at length, these shows aren’t very good and expect us to believe characters are villains just

Fair, thanks. I may still give it a shot. I'm generally not even really a horror person, so it's rare that the premise of one clicks enough with me to where I even want to watch it to begin with.

This should (and hopefully will) serve as a big wake-up call for Tesla (and more importantly, safety regulators) in terms of the emergency features on these cars.  They should not have had trouble getting in through the window, and her ability to open the door or window manually shouldn’t have been hidden behind the

Really wanted to see this before I found out they used AI for those fake commercial bumpers.

Right. I don’t mind at all exploring a large, well-designed world. But if you’re going to tell me that not only do I have to keep a crib sheet of all possible quests but that the end result of even minor quests could be quite literally anywhere, I’m going to start doing the calculus of “do I spend 3 real life hours
