I don’t think I breathed for the entire hour. The portrayal of abuse was so realistic through the whole series. It was both uncomfortable/triggery to watch but also, in a really twisted way, kind of reassuring. Like: other people see that it can go like this, too. That you sometimes feel super in love with your abuser

Everyone has been talking about how great the actresses in this show have been...and yes, and they have been fantastic...but what really struck me while watching last night was how good the kids are. The kids playing Chloe, Annabella, and Ziggy...especially Ziggy...were terrific. When you have a show with so many

The scenes in the therapist’s office were so well done. It was like a master class in why so many victims stay with their abusers.

I’m pretty happy about a show that starts out saying women are just big bitches to each other and then it ends like women are a village and they’re the only ones they can really trust. Like holy shit mind blown I love all you ladies out there I’d kill your abusive husband and help raise your kids.

Oooooo, that makes sense then. Just goes to show you how good an actress Zoe Kravitz is cuz I saw that history on her face. No backstory needed.

That’s what I thought when they left the kids and got in the car “Holy crap, she’s super tall and he’s still so much bigger than she is!” He’s terrifying. I wonder if he’s going to have a hard time getting dates after this. I’m not sure I’d be able to separate him from this particular character in the way that I

Oh you’re definitely more observant than me. I had no idea at all.

I thought that was a good setup! You see them so many times and they’re so annoying to Madeline it seemed fitting that things ended there.

Yes. Don’t know if you read the book but she was raised in an abusive household. I REALLY liked the adaptation but the book spelled some things out a little better.

I burst into tears when they fought to protect Celeste. Uncontrollable sobs. These women. Anyone who has been through this can understand the real desire to have that protection and safety. The story of Celeste was so well done. I wish the ending wasn’t a fantasy for so many women. Bravo Nicole and Reese!!!

He was so casual and Celeste was frozen with fear. Their scenes are so intense it makes me a nervous wreck

I know. I told my husband that while I was sad the series was over (it’s been a great weekly distraction from all the stressful current events happening), I wouldn’t necessarily want it to be drug out into more episodes. Celeste & Perry’s relationship was gut-wretchingly stressful to watch and see unfold. I was having

Reese broke my fucking heart when she was caught between Celeste and Jane and realized what was going on.

The stairs were roped off because they accidentally poured the concrete with a bunch of knives sticking out of it.

Boy, I don’t remember ever being on the edge of my seat for an hour of television like that. My assumptions about the identities of the bully and Jane’s rapist/Ziggy’s dad were correct, but that didn’t detract at all from the episode.

That was the best fucking hour of TV I’ve seen in a long time.

See, I was first introduced to him on True Blood, so he will always be vampire Eric first and foremost!

She’s great in this, but so is Reese, and of course they are both exec producers of it....I commented to Mr. Again last week, one thing about this show is you can tell why all/most of these ladies have Oscars or have been nominated...they’re A list for good reason. It’s a treat to see so much talent/skill all in one

I LOVE NICOLE KIDMAN

All I’m here to say is that I want Alexander Skarsgard’s p in my v.
