I've been out of the comics hole for the last couple of years. Is Sam the Nova based on Jeph Loebs' dead son?

I liked the episode where Ravage returned as a dog-headed Russian robot assassin. What made me shit myself was in the climactic battle when he transformed into a cassette tape blasting guitar shreds. He had the old transformation sounds and everything.
I don't know why, but I initially read that as "'member when Enzo grew up to be a lesbian?"
That sucks. I used to hang around his old blog about his graduate school experiences, but which actually ended up being about comic books like half the time. He made me realize that Magneto looks like a young Jacques Derrida:
Heinlein actually wrote a defense of the Starship Troopers' form of government as being a viable way of organizing society. I believe he claimed that when he wrote only "veterans" could vote he wasn't only referring to military veterans but to experienced people - veteran schoolteachers was the example he gave. To me,…
That picture looks like it's from Riverdale Park in Toronto. I know some people have played Quidditch there though I don't know how popular it is.
Archer is frequently hilarious but on a technical level the animation is often uninspired and barely above Flash animation. Watch it with the sound off sometime and count how many times you're wowed by the visuals as opposed to, say, an episode of Legend of Korra. The good episodes of Korra, I mean.
The classic story about exactly what you describe would of course be H.G. Wells' The Time Machine, which besides taking human evolution into weird places is also an examination of the endpoint of capitalism and socialism.
Well, UPN did have Moesha and those other young black people shows that other networks wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
Speaking of, I just checked Wikipedia and Moesha apparently had 6 seasons and 127 episodes.
Well, turns out it was a Guardian article: https://www.theguardian.com…
Canada was 20% non-white as of 2011. White people are actually a minority in Vancouver. And the natives have always been around. So no, it's not homogenous white at all.
I was actually just reading about the northern Muslims on CBC. Almost all of them stick to the fasting schedule of a southerly city (I think many do Edmonton?) but there was one weirdo who was trying to do literal dawn to dusk. I don't know if he stuck with it, though.
I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that Quebec has direct control of their immigration because of a special deal with the federal government, and the province gives bonus points to French speakers.
If you've ever played Halo multiplayer then you should realize that the video game world is even more racist than the physical world.
True fact: a lot of lower level male porn actors are ex-cons who are unable to find another job.*
You had a Jeremiah Johnson fur trapper costume in RDR, at least. I always changed into that when I was kidnapping miners and hookers and murdering them in my log cabin.
See, I was asking exactly that question. Mulan is such an iconic story that it seems odd it would never have been made into a live action movie at all.
Why Stalin? Shouldn't they be assassinating George Wallace and other American whiteys?
So there hasn't been any Chinese live action adaptation of Mulan at all? It seems an odd oversight. I would have thought some crappy kung fu movie in the 60's already covered the subject. Or is this article only referring to English-language live action adaptations?
Monica Rambeau was also there. I forget what her super-name is now. Not Captain Marvel, that's for sure.
