Oh, so they haven't fixed that yet, huh?

Yeah, Blade never even had a decent look before the movies. I think he used to be in a full-body green leather catsuit? With a bandolier of stakes and goggles. I definitely remember the goggles. Possibly he also had one of those Russian hats with the earflaps.
I am cautiously optimistic for the movie. I wish they'd kept the original title, though, I kind of liked the partial alliteration of Battle Angel Alita. It rolls off the tongue better than having a colon stuck in the middle.
Look, I'm Asian, which means I'm lactose-intolerant (as, indeed, most human beings are). Milk isn't a thing I keep in my kitchen, and I'm not going to buy it just for some chick in my ero visual novel. Now if she'd asked me to make her some tom kha or similar shit I could have just taken a picture of my dinner.
The bigger and even medium tier manga artists have assistants, sort of like a Renaissance painter with apprentices. The smaller and unknown artists wreck their health to make their deadlines.
Dude, there have been a bunch of Secret Wars already since the first one. I think we're up to like Secret War 7.
Victor Garber is Canadian. I just checked and apparently you can't be Veep if you're ineligible for Prez. Guess that's to stop Americans from threatening to replace Obama with a cheaper Mexican replacement.
See, I would say that a Chinese Room capable of sentience was never a Chinese Room in the first place, at least in its original definition. What would a more complex Chinese Room be but a man with a larger dictionary?
Well, bear with me as I haven't seen the movie since it was in theatres so some things may not be entirely correct.
Well reasoned, but how can a Chinese Room become self-aware? I don't see how a droid can move from one to the other. And as you said, droids aren't children so they don't have a developmental mechanism for achieving true selfhood. I wonder if what looks to us like sentience is just an accumulation of software bugs and…
Was anyone actually asking for this? I can't even remember the last time anyone mentioned Avatar, even to make fun of it.
Yeah, I figure it'll start out with her as a hotshot fighter pilot (maybe Captain Marvel is her callsign?) who gets her powers from a dying alien.
It was only rolled out in the US, Australia, and New Zealand, which makes sense since it's an American company releasing it. Europe and Asia are supposed to be coming within days. I think Germany already has it by now. I suppose it's the first test of the non-English version of the game.
It's not available in Japan yet.
Watching season 1 of Parks and Rec has caused me to never watch another episode of the show. Everyone assures me that it got so much better but I'd rather not risk it.
Also the reporter from Generation Kill. Dude's got range.
Yeah, I'm currently re-watching Tamers and I'd forgotten how raw it was. Takato is afraid his Digimon will be shot dead by the police, then when the secret of the Digimon get out, freaking attack helicopters and tanks get called out.
Come on, the Brits did most of it. We mostly just tagged along to buy souvenirs in DC.
The Crimean War is the biggest exception. The only other one that comes to mind is one of the Opium Wars. There are probably one or two even more obscure examples of military alliance between the two but that's all I've got off the top of my head.
You know, I just realized that the reason Canadian health care costs are ballooning isn't because of the ageing populace but because the money is being siphoned off into Department H and the Weapon X program. Damn superheroes, you're why I had to pay out of pocket to get this wart removed from my finger!
