One of my favorite moments in HZD will always be where Aloy encounters a hologram of the Earth and Sylens chimes in with “It’s our planet, Aloy; it isn’t flat as you thought” and she’s just like “Why would I think that? It casts a round shadow during an eclipse”

One of my major complaints about H:ZD was that the backstory was so well-realized, so astonishingly bleak and delivered so well through the holograms and audio logs that I had a hard time focusing on the “current-day” events going on around Aloy. To the point that, after I got the cutscene where Faro revealed his

Seriously, HZD is a masterclass in world building. The way it drip feeds information and never once let me down with the explanations. All Science fiction writers should take notes from how well it creates a compelling world so effectively.

He’s such a brilliant takedown of the benevolent tech billionaire. Because when the chips were down he chose profit over planet and ended up ushering the end of humanity. Than, as a final insult, he robs us of our past and dooms us to repeat it because he’s too fucking selfish to just take responsibility for what he

Faro is one of the best villains in a video game ever, and you don’t interact with him a single time, it’s incredible.  The sheer narcissism he displays to the very end and how the game parcels that out to you is just amazing work.

TL;DR: Ted Faro is Son of a Bitch

The “mediocre” game that hovers around a 90% critical rating on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, Series X and Stadia? It’s fine if you don’t like it but your whole premise is based around the ‘fact’ that this is a mediocre game, and for all the Reddit wish lists of what it could/should have been, the fact is that these 13

Now let’s hear your dating dos and don’ts!

I’m sorry, but the Cyberpunk hate dogpile is getting out of hand. Yes the base PS4 version isn’t the best it could have been, but it was NOT so bad it needed to get pulled off the PSN store. They didn’t pull Assassin’s Creed Unity or Fallout 76 and both were MUCH worse off. Not to mention Tony Hawk 5.

I’ve been waiting to see how the comment sections on articles should The Last of Us Part II wins Game of The Year. I can say, I am not disappointed with your reactions dear haters. It’s so funny.

So many angry people in various twitch chats and the official youtube chat that absolutely hated TLOU2. People will find things to hate in anything. My wife and I really enjoyed it. How people can think it’s some Fem-Nazi propaganda is beyond me. People need more hobbies outside of video games, it seems.

It’s coming from microsoft pretty much single handedly forcing the industry to become more pro consumer.

I mean, it’s not really supposed to be a tactical, dynamic fight, it’s supposed to be a mad scramble just to stay alive while you unload every single bullet and pipe bomb you have into the thing. The game stocks you up plenty beforehand and there’s ammo littered everywhere in the environment where the fight takes

“Mutant Lives Matter” has been the premise of the X-Men for 45 years, bro.

It’s Oxenfree for $5 and 733 bonus games!

Same, and same. I hope the rest of these celebs get in line and start suing them too. It’s not like anyone has anything better to do right now anyway.

My first instinct was to say, “Really? $10M dollars?”, but fuck those guys. I hate those predatory POS games. Sic ‘em, Salena.

“Easy mode is too easy" sounds like the correct difficulty for an easy mode. It sounds like the issue is more with normal mode, at least a particular boss in normal mode.

I appreciate easy/story mode. I’m here to have a good time (that means not doing the same fight over and over), enjoy the story itself, and then move on to the next thing. So in the case of FF7, I’m actually happy to hear this...

I shouldn’t need to, and so won’t get into just why the Nazis were so bad, but suffice to say the least we should be expecting from developers allowing us to play as them is a little introspection.
