Where’s this narrative of 20+ accusers even coming from? I feel like someone said it somewhere and everyone just parroted it. Be honest for a second: Were you actually planning on buying it? And not in a “meh, I might pick it up if I see it for very cheap, who knows” kind of way? Was this game at all on your radar as a potential full-price purchase in the near future? Because if not then your boycott doesn’t really mean much at all. 

If you legitimately consider a middle-school level joke (changing the popular Olay shampoo brand to Ogay) to be “hate speech”, then I don’t really know what to tell you. Might as well just stop having any jokes now because if that’s the standard we’re holding them up then pretty much anything is hate speech now.
