It’s nice that you can do that (go to sleep unassisted), but I’m also of the idea of better living through chemistry.
The idea of going up and down willy nilly makes me feel a little ill. Increasing and decreasing my doses is such a trial for me that that idea of just ‘oh ok, well fine’ is like ‘ughhhhblleehhhvomit’.
Yeah, melatonin is a step in my ‘getting to sleep’ repertoire. A quality klonopin is involved too.
So, I’m a pretty rubbish person to ask, since I got it ‘right’ pretty quickly, due to a very good relationship with my doctor. I explained what was going on and what side effects I was hoping to avoid (fatigue, brain fog were my big ones. Would have liked to avoided weight gain, but it’s hard to avoid and the 8-10ish…
I’m rocking a variety of other medications and supplements too, but they are less “fun”.
clonazepam is pretty much the only thing keeping me functional at this point.
