Honestly... if you didn’t like the first 4 episodes, you might still like some stuff later on, but it’s hard to say. KORRA is a different beast, though; the first season of KORRA is head-and-shoulders above the first of AVATAR, so you might find yourself getting more into the world that way.

I mean, you know how all those games out there have all those boring robot centaur protagonists? It’s like those.

It means something super specific in Overwatch: He’s saying that her weapon falls into the ‘projectile’ category of weapons rather than the ‘hitscan’ category of weapons.

The problem wasn’t with his damage, which hasn’t changed too much (it was nerfed a little, even), but with his survivability. Previously, he was meant to be a glass cannon; he could output ENORMOUS amounts of damage, but to do so he had to be stationary, and he had a big glowing weak point on his back. So, a smart

On the one hand, 7 sounds like a lot. On the other hand, it’s like, 2-3 hours a week. That’s not insane by most schedules, and certainly given the amount of time I typically see higher level players going with.

Because she was given the wrong card -- she was given the card for Emma Stone’s Best Actress win.

The editing of this clip is almost disastrous. I’m shocked they released it to the public.

The editing on that BEAUTY AND THE BEAST song is terrible. Like, SUICIDE SQUAD level terrible. How did Disney put this out as a promo?

That’s not typically true. For instance, the APA Manual recommends avoiding pronouns altogether - so, “Seeing the cheater launch from the cannon, Seagull’s team pounced.” - and specifically says NOT to default to he/him. Same with the OWL at Purdue, which recommends “he or she,” or rewriting to avoid the issue

Because he doesn’t have the video from the cheater’s point-of-view, he doesn’t know the gender of the cheater.

They watch the killcams. This is from MoonMoon’s perspective later in the match:

If you watch some of Seagull’s streams for Korea — or MoonMoon’s stream of this match — it’s often quite easy to tell when someone is aimbotting. The aim is jittery and jerky and always right on regardless of how and where the person moves.

I thought Film Crit Hulk had a great point about why so many of these guys start off ‘ironically’ racist and sexist and end up straight-up becoming what they claimed they were mocking before. Basically, they do something awful, someone gets hurt, they claim they were misunderstood. Understandably, we all sympathize

The thing is, he’s not MEANT to function in the tank meta. He’s still the star of a good dive comp, though, they’re just really hard to run without an organized team. But you get a good Winston/Zarya combo and you are going to wreck shit.

Probably because they only mentioned one thing about the movie and it was incorrect. I tend to assume people didn’t watch the movie in that instance.

I have nothing against people who see a movie and dislike it. I dislike plenty of movies every year.

Do you like classic musicals? If so: Yes. If not: No.

A mostly really solid list. There are some problems in ever category, definitely, but few really egregious mistakes. 2016 was a pretty awesome year for film (even if it was hot garbage for blockbusters... and for reality), and this list reflects a lot of what the year got right in the theaters.

Shhh... this is how people make fun of a movie without having to see it or think about it.
