What isn’t shown was how afterwards the Defender had to be towed to the dealership itself.

School Busses should be 100% electric.
The Semi is the one that I think a lot of folks are underestimating...the absolute biggest difference that can be made, emissions/environmental-wise, is with trucks. Cars aren’t ‘clean’, of course, but a hell of a lot cleaner than trucks...and the number of trucks on the road is absolutely huge. Plus, they are a…
That’s when we’ll know Tesla has really made it.
I won’t argue that Spaceballs references aren’t childish, but I like them. It’s really the only thing Musk does that I enjoy. He’s really piggybacking on the goodwill Mel Brooks earned, but I like Spaceballs, so references to Spaceballs make me smile.
This is also a way for oil companies to keep selling natural gas while pretending they’re not selling natural gas.
Toyota sees $$.
You really can’t handwave the efficiency problem like that. Japan’s H2 supply is “grey” hydrogen, sourced from fossil fuels (typically SMR). Last time I ran the numbers, a last-gen Mirai had the same CO2/mi as a CNG Civic, and cost several times more per mile. But even if we finally transition to “green” hydrogen, the …
A 2021 Model Y has a 325 mile range and takes 15 minutes to add 160 miles. It’s waaay simpler than any fuel cell setup.
So they hit 331mph Canadian?
“The electric shift at Tremery has been in the works going back to 2019.... by which time Tesla Model 3 sales removed any remaining doubt that battery-electric cars are the future.”
Same thing that happens with worn out ICE units. Scrapped and recycled.
the title gonna be fat sick and nearly dead?
Waymo and Tesla are solving for slightly different problems. Waymo’s an AV company, not a car company, so $20,000 sensor suites on top of $50,000 cars isn’t an issue. Tesla’s selling cars to consumers, so a set of $250 solid-state LIDAR sensors would drive the cost up, and that’s before considering the supply chain…
Just a regular car fan here. No particular interest or disinterest in tesla, other than to say its a innovative American company, and the whole FSD and Elon and whatever is a bit much and quite silly. But the coverage of anything on this site about Tesla reads as very childish... Like can an article about Tesla be…
This sounds more likely. We love the Hellcat All The Things plan, but they will only sell in volume in the US. But in the US, no one wants the small fuel efficient FCA offerings, they don’t really do electric/hybrid, so they are rapidly painting themselves in to a corner.
You make some excellent points. I think at this point now, we as car people should just judge the car for what it is. Mustang Mach E...is a good car. We need to put on our big boy/girl pants and deal with it (message is as much for me as it is for others).
“shift more resources from the company’s old business to EVs and digitization, expand battery manufacturing, and explore new revenue streams and payment systems.”
Because Karen, who hasn’t talked to you since high school, all of a sudden finds you on Facebook and tells you the essential oils she’s selling with her MLM cure cancer.
