Yup, Mustang Hatchback. Same side profile as the current mustang coupes, but with much more useable space (for my mountain bike, mostly). They were the best bodystyle of the mustang in the 80's and early 90's and they’d be great again.

I wholeheartedly endorse this proposal. I would actually buy one (with real money) if they made a new ranchero or a mustang hatch.

My question exactly. Even though it looks like a second turbo, my guess is it’s a relief valve/bypass valve for off-boost conditions. I don’t know much about turbo process control, though.

Properly efficient, though, after they re-branded as 3M.  Not many companies can get their official corporate name down to 2 characters.  They must have an engineer or two on staff.

Hmmm, $4500 discount plus $4600 supercharger kit...

Obligatory

Nice work! I choose to believe that it’s for a black 4700cc V8 Cygnet that somehow time-traveled to 2002 for its first registration.

‘Y8 CYG’ license plate? Was ‘V8 CYG’ already taken?

They’re still growing and getting better every year. Brammo was bought and absorbed by Polaris (Victory). It was too bad, but from what I understand about Brammo, they weren’t long for the world anyway. Zero Motorcycles is still kicking and their bikes get better and cheaper every year by significant jumps. I still

Will a mountain bike fit in the back with the rear seats folded down? With or without the front wheel installed on the bike?

I hope you’re right that they choose to bring a hot hatch back in the future, but every report I’ve seen says that they’re getting rid of them all (and only introducing the new crossover called the Focus Active based on the new euro focus). Fingers crossed they come to their senses.

Focus RS and ST (which are the ones that matter ‘round these parts) aren’t being spared, though. Enthusiasts generally aren’t looking for a XV Crosstrek competitor to replace their preferred hot hatch.

He’s dead, Jim:

To be more specific: Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS, Taurus SHO and Fusion Sport all died for this 700hp showpiece that very few people will experience.

Good! I think.

I forget, is it bad to be the baddest? Or is it good again?

...there were no survivors.

Daddy?
