No, she never apologized. I ended up nannying for the boys from ages 3 months to 1 year, and she realized I was the best thing for them and her. I can say though that our relationship hasn’t been the same. Somewhere, sometime, I became the “older” sister, ya know?

I understand completely. I got pregnant at 21 and had a miscarriage. My now ex husband was in Iraq when it happened, so we couldn’t try again for 7 months. Me getting pregnant put my older sister in a baby frenzy. She decided she wanted to be the first of us siblings to have kids. So she was trying for about 7-8…

My folks were about that age when they had their last kid. They are now 74 and 69, and I swear, us kids keep them young. They look 15 years younger, they act it, they work, they exercise. They are a great example for having kids later in life.
