Your attitude is a big reason why Trump got elected, you know.

Keep it classy there guy. How do you know he voted for Trump in the first place? You sound like the rest of the wet diapers that are all upset about the Trump win. They immediately assume anybody criticizing them wasn’t on their side to begin with and are idiots. You don’t have to be a Trump supporter to realize

you stay classy.

Yes: including a healthy spoonful of a bastardized definition of racism thrown in for good measure. It’s automotive news with a SJW twist - the perfect combo!

“ the man who campaigned on a platform of racist economic nationalism.”

is this how it’s gonna be for the next 4 years? boo-hoo round-the-clock? sour grapes 24/7?

This is a glaring example of how Volvo is in the pocket of Big Shoe.

Hey, if you do not like it, don’t do it. I have a full time job, but I have a horrible case of insomnia. I drive Uber as a way to kill time in the wee hours of the morning, usually spent picking up drunks. It is not bad. Most of the people (all of them actually) that I know that drive Uber do it as a side gig, not

Uber drivers have absolutely no obligation to the company that “employs” them either. I’m amazed at how up in arms people are about Uber. Their workers are absolutely the definition of independent contractors.

This is an ironic article being that Uber wouldn’t even exist today in most cities if it wasn’t for the greedy and controlling cab unions.

Sounds more like we need more pipelines. Having 100 million drivers rely on a single point of failure for fuel delivery seems like a major issue.

I doubt that anybody is unaware that older cars were designed to meet a lesser impact standard. That’s the whole point - here’s why car designed over a quarter century ago that’s still being produced probably shouldn’t be.

As my grandfather would say “they don’t build ‘em like they used to” to which I’d reply “Thank God.”

This is excellent journalism, with a perfectly cogent and somewhat unpopular analysis at its core. Massive props for challenging the “Feds are killing the fun” knee jerk reaction one might expect on a car site, and for not automatically believing the press release.

Whenever I hear the word ‘disruption’ these days, in terms of tech start-ups, my brain just translates it to ‘bullshit.’

Be softer, Hotz. You can’t.

You win the racism card bonus for this post. Congratulations?

ok real talk - how many jalopnik writers live with their parents, coz cot dam, seems like ya all do.

So, a few words about that BMW wagon. It’s being sold by this guy.
