Not necessarily...there are plenty of used cars that aren’t manufacturer certified that are good buys. But if you are going to pay a premium for a CPO car, it’s better to get a manufacturer CPO.
I agree but CarMax’s marketing strategy has convinced a lot of buyers that that extra step is uncessecary.
Common sense and caveat emptor should always prevail when it comes to buying a used car. The “15,000 million point inspection” means jackshit, unless I get a ppi, and a shop of my choosing. The cost of this should be factored into purchasing the car. It’s like buying a printer, and you’re shocked that you have to buy…
