Repos happen too often, and to good people. But I agree, the guy in the clip isn’t going about it the right way at all.

HAHAHAHAH.
A big expandable rubber stopper for the tailpipe might be a better notion if this video is any sort of example.
Can’t start the vehicle, can’t cause trouble...
They arrested the lender? Nice
someone’s going to come on here to remind us that all of Florida isn’t ‘Florida’
Are you sure it’s not a Ford Escape?
You’re confusing your with you’re.
Yeah, no.
One of my favorite sports radio segments in Chicago is called “Florida or Ohio” where they read police reports and the guest has to guess whether the arrest took place in Florida or Ohio.
Like others have said I don’t know what he expected to accomplish. Completely destroying his entire rear end, cause WAY more damage than however much he could have been behind on payments. And lets just assume he gets it off the lift and drives away. Does he not think the cops know where he lives? That is technically…
Why don’t you give that lunatic your car. For free. He’s going to need it. If you don’t, you’re literally ruining his life, don’t you know.
the $7k Altimas are almost never the ones getting repossessed, at least not around me. Repo companies come to us to get keys made to the cars they are taking, and the majority are 2013 or newer crossovers, SUV’s, or pickups.
The dealerships all too often lie about how they can affordably finance it. If you are on a low income and get told by someone in a suit and tie, who has a bunch of paperwork and loads of graphs and numbers to hand, that actually you *can* afford that desirable item, and who outright lie to the mark in order to make a…
This just shows the tow truck driver was needlessly upsold on the F-450.
As opposed to being out legal fees, your freedom, fines, and the stigma of going to jail? Because that’s generally what happens when these people double down long enough to make it a news story, as happened here. There’s also the fact that you’re never going to stop it. Nobody ever successfully stops a repossession…
So now he lost the truck, has to pay for the damage inflicted (his insurance certainly won’t be paying after this video), the damage to an expensive tow truck, court fees, legal fees and more. Brilliant.
Star if you knew it was a Florida story before clicking into the article.
The only thing the “owner” of the white truck did here, was lower the value of the vehicle. Which means after the lender gets done reselling the vehicle and applies that to his outstanding loan, he’ll continue to owe more money than he can afford.
I swear to god... I should be sympathetic to people having materials being repossessed, or sold at pawn, or whatever, because that sucks, but the people in these stories are always the perfect mix of entitled and stupid to just be perfectly hateable.
god dammit you motherfucker... I just saved that gif to use it this morning (realizing it was missing from my arsenal) lol
