@UnMicD: The problem with this is evident when you have multiple-monitors - a window will take up the left half of the left monitor, but there's no activation area for the right half of the same monitor - you need to drag it over to the right edge of the right monitor, where it will proceed to take up the right half

Interesting to note the passage of time on the microwave in the background of that Win7 video. It took them a couple of hours to film.

If Lifehacker didn't post so friggin much, I might have time to sleep more!

@gongzero: Depending on the price... ditto. :)

As someone who only the other day started using iTunes instead of Winamp (mainly to see what all the fuss was about), I started putting together a list of gripes about iTunes. It's not comprehensive by any means, but most of the points are really basic, "Wait, what?!? It can't do that/doesn't have that?!??!" type

I was just looking for something like this 2 days ago! Lifehacker, you really should let us in on the secret behind your uber mind-reading skillz! :)

In bed by 4am, up by noon. I am a night owl. I never get grumpy. :p

ExpressionEngine FTW. :D

"Sorry, sir - I've got a case of anal glaucoma..."

The tastiest grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had contained:

"Choosing apples that brown less... is another way to keep browning to a minimum."

FYI, I didn't say that Better Butter stays fresh twice as long... just that you get 2x the "butter" out of each stick. But now that you mention it, since it is kept in the fridge, perhaps it does last twice as long...

There's an easy way to get butter that goes twice as far, stays spreadable when refridgerated, and is healthier for you: Better Butter! My mother taught me this (and made sure we grew up on it), but a quick Google search shows that we're not the only ones who know about it - from USA Weekend:

What about the expiration dates on wine? ;)

In Chrome 2, it instantly jumped from my default location (my home city) to my current location (I'm on a road trip). However, I can't see a blue dot on the map itself... is anyone else missing the dot?

Does anyone know how to alter this to only show up for shortcuts (.lnk)? I altered the .reg file to replace the "*" with ".lnk", but it doesn't seem to have any affect...

@OttavioDives: Oh yeah, I forgot about those. And with Google Maps' helpful driving directions from London to NY, I'll be able to save tons of money. :p

I use my Sony Ericsson cellphone...
