The fact the InstaPot sits in there tells me you don’t have enough barbacoa and carnitas in your life, or fast but still good ribs. The last two require oven finishing, but it beats an extra 2-3 hours and heating up the whole house for that long.

Nerf now is in a serie right now comparing all online TCGs, due to the release of Artifact, Gwent is mocked by how it killed itself by reducing complexity.

WiFi is inherently laggy, I don’t know what you were expecting. There’s a reason you shouldn’t use it for gaming, and steaming a game is much more demanding than simply playing something online. Many things can interfere with a signal, and 5GHz doesn’t have the distance that 2.4GHz does. The ONLY downside to wired is

The phrase “familiarity breeds contempt” comes to mind. At this point it seems both performer and the audience are growing sick of each other. There’s a reason why athletes and actors have off seasons and breaks. Because constantly being “on” isn’t really good.

“I can build whatever deck I want, card by card, without ever paying Wizards of the Coast a penny”

Say it with me: cardboard with pretty pictures is not an investment. Next, Fantasy Flight isn’t like WoTC. Netrunner (or any of their other LCGs) aren’t giant prize-pool games where you can make $50-$100k for being the best around. It isn’t even like Pokemon with a top prize of $25k. You win promo cards, play mats,

how could you possibly build a MTG deck “without ever paying”? What are you even saying? Also some games are fun to play outside of an ultra competitive setting.

He looks like an abusive douche and she sounds like she was purposely trying to record a conversation with the sole intent of giving herself an out down the road if things went south.

my dude, I’ve gotta stop you right there on that last line and drop a cold hard truth on you: collectible card games have always, since the beginning of time, been the progenitors of the modern gachapon model of “get people to buy a whole lot of junk in pursuit of the 1/50 chance of the thing they actually want”

No problem with that! But it could have been so much, much more. I wish I was still playing this game with millions of people, but most quickly stop. I read about the few updates it got but it still is very far from being interesting to me.

The developers have run out of energy, and have to wait for it to regenerate. Or we can buy them more energy now.

Must have been frustrating for him, because they clearly just added realistic skin textures and fur to unchanged models. Looks more like those gross “Nintendo characters in Unreal 4 engine” videos than this guy’s well-thought-out redesigns.

Huh. When I was a kid, I used to read the FFVII Prima guide like a novel. I used to love getting the strategy guide for a game - it felt like I was being let in on a secret extra layer of the world I was running around in.

I can’t feel bad about this aside from feeling bad for the employees... Prima guides have been some of the worst guides I’ve ever seen from a usability standpoint.

“I will not watch live returns in VA, I will not watch live returns in VA, I will not watch live returns in VA...”

They’ll probably end up settling outside of court. It’s how these stupid things always go. My ex-martial arts teacher was sued for sexual harassment not long ago, and he ended up paying a pretty penny for not keeping his hands to himself.  In the end, they settled outside of court so as to not harm his “reputation,”

Indian =/= Blacks, also =/= Native American, of which Pharah is half one. :P

Thanks! It’s certainly ironic that angry Redditors have been dragging me all weekend for being a Blizzard shill because I criticized the petulant red-shirt guy on Twitter while at the same time I was digging into this story that Blizzard certainly didn’t want to come out.

Yeah Kotaku has never written anything about Riot games...

Did you miss the articles that they wrote calling Riot out on how they treated their female employees? Or are you just ignoring them to make a dumb point, simply because you don’t like the game/company.
