“...it doesn’t do much to solidify any lore for this character. Some fans have expressed frustration that after two years, D.Va and much of the rest of Overwatch universe still feels like a blank slate.”
The article’s only been up an hour! How many replies do you expect? :)
Souls + Ninja Gaiden + Tenchu. I’m in.
I think you’re missing the point.
People largely ignore microaggressions that aren’t directed at them or a group they’re a part of.
When people who are part of a marginalized/targeted group raise their concern, they are told that they are “too sensitive” or “overblowing” it.
People outside the group see marginalized…
“these days you can’t say anything” Always seems a bit overblown to me.
Turns out, humans are capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time.
I wish there was a feature that popped up when people make the same comment that’s already been made 1,000 times and contributes nothing to the conversation but your own take.
I can’t even imagine the inner turmoil of working for a place whose readership is one step away from actively hating everything you stand for, and I just wanted to say: I appreciate the work you do here. Aside from a few shining bright spots like Arnheim, this comments section is one of the least tolerant places on…
Look, if you want to say something in these comments all I ask is that you be respectful to one another. Disagree on whatever points you want but please treat each other decently. (Assholes and transphobes get banned.)

I’m sorry about your circumstances too, you didn’t HAVE to have 4 kids. Back of the line.
What does that even mean? That your compassion only extends as far as your kids and their needs? This isn’t a Zero sum game. All government social projects need more funding. It’s like the people that say, well I’m not going to worry about welfare til vets are taken care of. No, we need to take care of both at the…
People had the same questions for the console version of FFXIV. It took a re-envisioning of how the control scheme for a MMORPG could work, but damn if its not a great control scheme, so much that I know plenty of PC users that use it.
This actually makes a lot of sense given the latest dev diaries.
there are some shots of the UI on the game’s twitter feed..
This isn’t so bad guys. Look at it this way: 30 seconds of watching an advertisement is like two whole Amazon employee bathroom breaks.
I suspect many go into the field because they grew up loving the anime and wanted to work on it. People who endure the obscenely low wages do so out of love.
