You’re welcome to believe that, but the MMO and MOBA community have pretty well settled this issue by distinguishing between F2P and P2W in the ways I described, and the BDO community considers costumes a F2P element that is ultimately inconsequential to the game experience.
The stats on the costume are considered largely meaningless by the BDO community, as they affect things like jump height, weight limits, etc. As handy as those things are, they are largely quality of life, or convenience, boosts.
