That thing is like a time capsule.  Reminds me of my dad’s old Sonoma with the digi dash, fond memories in that truck, peeling paint and all...

this excites me.

I mean, that front tho..... to me this car looks like dogshit, but I’m sure many thousands will sell anyway because money can’t buy taste, or maybe its objectivly good to drive, but man, its ugly, I can’t get over it.

I also loathe people who don’t put their damn dog on a leash in a public park. Mr. Cooper is a goddamn hero for calling her out in the 1st place.

I love my survivor, its like the family dog to me, I can’t get rid of it, even if by practical people terms, I should.

Because drivers always follow the traffic laws too?

So, they essentially want a race track, but don’t want to pay for it.....

There inlies the problem that those who race illegally could help solve, IF they went to tracks and paid fees, Economies of scale can then come into play, and the more people that go, the less expensive it is per person...

Volvo makes the best seats, period.

1000000x this.  Been saying it for years.

Cool read, I wished these had came to be too!

The car she has, a brown 2013 Highlander ha.

She likes it a lot anyway, as boring as I think it is.

I think the real question is, why’d this kid pull over? No way they could have caught up with him in time at that speed to give him a citation I’d think?

Before you buy your next bike, feel free to consult myself or I’m sure the many other jalops who have bike knowledge.

Glad you’re learning, but ideally, on your next rig, the community could help you make better choices that won’t result with you having as frustrating an experience with cycling and save you a

I mean, I don’t think anyone has ever in the history of ever bought a Wranger because it’s a “Safe” car, they have some inherent issues just by nature of keeping them true to the original.

No different than a sports car. I sure as hell would never expect my Miata or Corvette to be anywhere near as good as say a modern

I mean, if you’re gonna drive a truck, at least go all out and get something cool.  This fits that bill, I’d shamelessly drive this.

I think its just because some of us are snobs and ludites and just want a newer version of a retro thing, even though it would never sell.

I mean, I was mad at Volvo for no particular reasoin when they went to their new Drive-E stuff with the twin charged i4's. The new engine is more efficient, makes good power and is

Or just buy  a trickle charger??  They’re cheap, and everyone should have one.

Volvo is always the ideal car. (until it’s not)?

Fixed.

I’d reconsider and get a similar vintage Volvo imo.  They are quite reliable cars, my 05 XC has been a gem.  Not trouble free, but nothing major.  Sensor here and there and just basic wear items.  Plus its probably safer, and its built like a brick shit house.

Its kinda “Meh” price. Not a great deal, but not a terrible one if it has good main.t records.

These things are pretty desirable to many, because they are modern enough to have the basics like power doors, locks, and cruise, but also aren’t so pumped full of gadgets and electronics that you need a special set of tools
