So going to preface this before I say what I’m about to say because I know someone here will immediately go to “Oh you’re just being a douche on the internet”, which... well, saying that already has put that in their mindset but we’ll sort that out later:

I know a lot of folks aren’t going to like the interior swap, but the interior swap is what actually makes this truck liveable. If you wanted to daily this truck, you could. Why? Because old interiors wore you out.

Rolls Royce, Ferrari, and any other high-end manufacturer. Their days are clearly numbered though.

I work in IT this is typical. IT will submit a request to move to a new software because license is expiring or end of life. accounting wont approve and then the day finally comes when that software is gone and NOW we get yelled at for “letting” this happen

Most young people don’t have enough money to be profitable.  They can buy a used VW and wonder what it was like when all the buttons and switches worked.

All of these bans on gas-burning cars end up a little dumb in that, well, they are not taking place immediately

I say we tolerate Nazi opinions like we did the first time around.  With firebombing.

When my kids were 5 or so, I took them to a military museum and showed them the swastika for the first time. I told them that this is one of the most potent symbols of evil and that I never, ever, wanted them to draw it except in history classes.

Less things in our life should be considered disposable, our cars least of all. I have a 30 year old toaster works perfectly. Shouldn't our cars last at least that long. If not for us at least for the environment.
