A fast estate. Audi RS6 or a Volvo V70R or something like that. Fun, big enough to sleep in and haul stuff. AWD if it gets weird.

Ive raced, fixed and hooned many a 1st gen Neon. Its a very under-rated car from the era. Yeah, the interior was bad, but so was everything else from the big 3 in the 90's. But to me the interior was the only serious flaw with the car.

Otherwise, it was reliable, cheap and easy to fix, economical and its not a bad car

Of course their Finnish! It all makes sense now....

I love it!

Curiously, is the 737 in general an easy plane to stall, or is the max easier to stall than earlier generations of 737?

I sold 4 rims to a guy from the cities early last fall, might be a diffrent Volvo Nerd.  I’m In northern MN.

My Forever car.  Which is good, because ot will probably actually run forever

I agree, I don’t see this helping. To me, if you want to succeed, they need to stop doing what everyone else is doing by copying the Germans.

Cadillac isn’t known for building 3 series fighters, its known for its big, opulent, luxurious cruisers that were well built, expensive, and had a sense of status. In a way, I’d

I generally feel 5.0l and up is big.  But in hotrod/muscle car land, big starts at like 6.0l and up.  Anything 5.0l plus is a lot of motor imo

Fuckin yikes..

How to end your career in 3....2.....1.....

Ronmler, this isn’t a liberal/conservative issue, as execs that swing both right and left do the same shit. So do the politicians of both parties.

What I don’t get is why more people aren’t up in arms about giving out these huge breaks to the richest corporations on the planet, then we wonder why taxes on the small guy go up or don’t go down. Why don’t we make them pay their fair share? It just floors me. Unless its small business, no large company deserves

I also stand by the belief that open deck motors are trash. The ammount of blown up performance car engines with open decks is proof.

So will a volvo b23.  Almost the same engine.

Added a new intercooler and piping to my 04 S60 R, put it all back together, all seemed well until I got into the gas, no-boost. Womp womp.

When I look at this car, I see a Chevy Cruze with a folding roof and Buick Badges.  Properly Meh.

Another overpriced Subaru, no WAY!!!

Lets spend 5.7 billion on a stupid wall on a supposed “crisis”, yet we can’t even maintain basic vital infrastructure here where there is a legitimate infrastructure crisis.

Depends where you live, but in Nashville, heck no.

Snow really isn’t justifcation for AWD either, to me its snow coupled with very steep hills, or if you live on a sandy/very loose, un-improved road.

One thing not mentioned is the added maintenance cost for AWD and potential for problems.  Murphy’s law.

Sometimes its not about how fast it can shift, I could give 2 hoots less about that, I know it can shift faster than me. A real manual is just more fun. You can’t replace that with any kind of automated shifting.

Why buy a new car when you have bikes and Old Volvo’s.  No matter the economic climate, they can still get you to work for a reasonable price.
