Very well written, thank you.

While I agree with your assertion that this thing is a rocket assembled by the lowest bidder, I’m not sure how much of an issue that is, because honestly, thats the whole point of this car. Cheap Speed.

Sure, a hellcat is less than this, but a hellcat can’t corner or turn in the lap times this can. Sure it has a

I did say “RIFLE” of which a shotgun is not.

I agree that terms are somewhat arbitrary, and maybe the specific defenition differs a bit, but I really don’t care. Like I say, arguing Symantics. Someone will make an arguement that an AR isn’t an Assault rifle, some will say it is, who cares.

Its a self loading,

I’ve been wondering why in the age of the crossover, why the wagon hasn’t made as big of a re-surgence. It has just about everything american consumers want, minus a jeep badge and a truck like ride height. But if you care about none of those things, personally I LOATH the up high/truck/suv driving position, you need

This happens all the damn time with winds this time of year.

The only time this bridge is scary to me, is if you’re riding across on a windy day, on a motorbike, and you’re forced to use the center (metal grate) lanes for any reason.  Already difficult on a windy day up there on a bike, coupled with the bike hopping

Not in my eyes, both guns are assault rifles to me. To me an “assault rifle” is any intermediate cartridge auto-loading rifle with a mid length barrel and magizine capacity above 5-10 rounds. Maybe the “official” designation is diffrent, but to me its arguing semantics. I don’t care what word / label gets placed on

There isn’t much of a diffrence. The main diffrence a m16 / M4 has over its civilian AR-15 varient is that the military models have automatic 3 round burst or fully automatic fire selections, where as the civilian models only have semi-automatic operation. There’s a few other small tweaks/differences, but thats the

The two rifles couldn’t be more different. About the one thing they have in common is they were both successful military assault rifles.

I’d agree. I think the AK is a worthy mention, but not so sure if out of all the firearms in world history, the AR is as significant as others.  I’d argue something like the labele 1886 is more revolutionary than the AR was.  There’s other examples as well that were quite revolutionary and changed warfare, and thus

You do also make a very valid point here Mike, and I agree!

When you really think about it just about every assault rifle built after the AR has tried to copy some of its qualities in some way.

I’d argue the AR15 is significant, but not for the reasons described, which are all political.

While to some extent that plays a part, I’d argue the AR 15 is significant because it marks many major changes in small arms development as a whole.

The AR marked the change to smaller, higher velocity cartridges. Before,

As someone who’s owned a few audi’s, the biggest issue for me is the fact that the giant iron lump of engine is sticking way out in front of the front axles, so it handles like dogshit on tarmac.  Its the biggest weakness of old Audi’s in my opinion.

To me with the advent of phones, watches are redundant. But diffrent strokes for diffrent folks, some still like the appearance or style they offer, in which case, go nuts! But to me its not a necessary item like it used to be.,

Clean burb. This is one of the best priced NPOCP cars in a while.  Hell of a deal!

Neutral: All my cars are Volvo’s, so I don’t have to think about it, I just know its good.  Not the main reason I buy them, but a very nice bonus.

In terms of practicality, its a great car. The AWD is awesome on them as well and they aren’t the most meh thing to drive either.

Downside is just as you listed, the engine. I went through a few with my between my 1st gen foz and a GC impreza (same cars mechanically)

They were just on jackstands all the damn timeand a

You used BMW in the same sentence as affordable. This is a lie.

BMW’s are more fun to drive sure, but they are not cheap to own or maintain.

A 740 will run on zip ties and prayers and your kids lunch money.  Its a great choice for a budget racing machine.  Did I mention the b230 LOVES boost??

Am I supposed to be impressed that a modern vehicle with a 700 HP engine beat 2 performance cars that are over 20 years old??

I’m not.

Give me the UR Quattro please.

As a 240 owner, this asking price makes me sad.  Not just because its not worth it, but I feel people are going to start paying crazy money for these soon.  I loath the day you can’t get a running/driving 240 for 400 bucks.

Today’s German cars are meant to be lease specials, driven for three or four years and then passed on to idiots at CarMax who think they can keep a modern twin-turbo direct injection car running perfectly without going bankrupt. If you can do it, God bless. I don’t envy the attempt.”
