What you thought was going to be "easy" and "fun" Turns into "WAY over your head!"
And while my 1st project car was a failure of sorts and had tons of issues, I learned a lot, and thats what was most important.

yeah, all that cleaning on the top end, the oil passages, pan, pump, new PCV, eww. just a multi layered fail fest right here....
It was, and it was a hoot to drive. But it broke down all the damn time. I had a love/hate with that piece of shit.
I blew a inter-cooler coupling on my old 850 R. Thankfully it was a straight connector. I was able to cut the ends off of a 12oz redbull can and use duct tape and hose clamps to replace the blown silicone coupler. Made it the 100 miles home. Winning.
Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS.
As someone who owns an S60R and driven an M3, They are totally different cars. I feel Volvo failed because they tried to market it as an "M3 Killer"
The M3 shits on the S60 in most aspects performance, particularly handling.
However, I feel the S60 is a much nicer car to drive every day. The seats are the best I've…
The AV-8B might be one of the loudest aircraft I've ever heard. I was at EAA Airventure like 10 years ago now, but they had a harrier demo, and I'll be damned if it wasn't the loudest thing I've ever heard!!! It was cool to watch it do its demo but man was it loud.
Every car needs 3 pedals.
False. A 240 does have crumple zones. As someone who's owned several, and crashed one, I can verify that they do. They have a lot of rather smart safety features designed into that tank.
So no, Acura's are just built like any other modern cheap plastic car. 240's are made of pig iron and are awesome.
I'd say the railroad. No one really gives it much thought, but trains have played a major role in many wars that shaped the history of the world. Its a great way to move supplies and keep your armies going!
I wasn't all that hooked on cars until I drove one for the 1st time, in drivers ed! I was 17 and idk, driving a car just seemed like the coolest thing in the world. And from then on I was hooked. Racing video games, the quest to get a sweet car by working for $5 an hour flipping burgers at McCancer... Ahh to be…
What the world needs more of is RWD rally cars.
Back when cars were cars, and drivers were men. lol.
Seriously, I watch this and I'm reminded of how lame and boring computers make driving. I'm glad I own a car without a computer. It makes life more fun sometimes.
I daily drive this 26 year old beauty...
"parts for that are cheap!"
Bar none, the most fun 2 cars I've ever owned. No they weren't the most powerful, but they have such a playful demeanor that you don't find very often in newer cars. Super light, agile and just plain ol fun. I could never stop smiling driving them.
I should not have sold my Integra. My subaru, while I liked how it…
because I want the cargo and people hauling capacity of a chevy tahoe whist getting more than 15mpg. Its not rocket applinces guyz.
But domestic violence and nascar go together like baseball and apple pie! err... cheap light beer!
Good on Nascar for trying to change its image, but there have been others in the past that have done the same things busch did. Seems in the light of the NFL scandal, everyone suddenly cares about domestic violence? …
Hey if the whole "auto-pilot" system goes awry, at least when you do smash headlong into the guard rail, you're in a Volvo?
