I see a large portion of the problem is freight being moved by truck. Why on earth we tore up a lot of rail infrastructure in this country for trucks is laughable. Its infinitely more efficient to move people and goods by rail. I thin that would solve a lot of problems right there.

My daily and best winter car ever. Snow tires, RWD. No stability control, no ABS, no power steering, no traction control. You don't need these things, you just need a driver that knows what their doing and knows the limits of the car.
