Speaking of achievements, restoring the thieves guild is beyond tedious.

There was this amazing collection of ideas in PSX/N64 gaming that could only be realized through the lack of advanced technology- less focus on graphics meant a better utilization of art assets and "abstraction" to create an image, and a heightened focus on gameplay and sound to flesh everything out.

So, I got bored and discovered the Dead Thrall spell, which allows you to resurrect just about any corpse as a mindless pet, and lead it into your house. What you do with it after that is totally up to you.

Okay, so like, can anyone explain how bad posture suddenly equals being a hunchback? I'd really like some detailed explanation of how his mom (whos apparently unable to cancel a WoW subscription) came to the conclusion that video games transmogrified her dear son.

Someone is paying that subscription fee. Cutting that off is probably the most important step.

Oh my god, thats exactly what bugged me about Uncharted 3.

Just to throw out a good example (Bwgmon's was pretty spot on), the mythos of both the Capcom AND Marvel universes can be pretty violent/extreme, just as they can be quite cartoony, and I think they were faithfully represented in the Marvel v Capcom games.

If you look at how most art forms ascend up into their glory, at some point the means with which to create in that medium opens up to people with no ordinary access, and they flood the "indie" (though I prefer the word amateur) scene with unpolished work that typically offers one or two really interesting ideas.

Why not teen? :D (or E10) -if parapa and sly are in this you can bet they won't be going the M route

Oh man, Spike from Ape Escape would make the perfect character for a game like this.

No offense, but do you think the average consumer can recognize anyone outside of the original Smash Bros cast? Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and Link (who they'd probably call Zelda) are shoe-ins, but the rest get pretty obscure, and that just serves to make the series that much better. I fail to see a problem here :D

I mean, Ganon/dorf tries to end all things, Roy and Marth are featured in a game built around warfare and perma-death, Mewtwo is a vengeful abomination of science, and Snake is a notorious mercenary and chainsmoker.

If it makes you feel any better (not that it makes the problem go away for good), quitting and/or resetting the console tends to give you a fresh one to three hours with minimal lag. I'm at 70 something hours on the ps3 and still playing with a 14mb save, which seems like dangerous territory. Good luck!

I'm not outraged, but I won't make any attempt to hide the fact that I support the students in this particular instance. If no one ever broke the rules in the name of activism and civil disobedience the entire civil rights movement may well have never taken place, let alone the revolution that founded the country.

Wait, I hope you don't think I'm defending him or his actions. I just meant someone was going to do it, if not him. It's a piece of a much larger issue.

It's a really well made, beautiful game, but it certainly has it's faults.

The officer was just doing his job, someone had to do it, but pepper spraying peaceful targets is definitely on the wrong side of tasteless.

Sega Channel did it, somehow. I mean, it wasn't a full catalogue, but it was a lot of great games.

I mean, its not broken. First of all thats how the encounters play out, second he is just hitting the cactus, not really exploiting it. Nothing to worry about.
