I started Bioshock 2 a couple nights ago, doing a chapter a night on hard and enjoying it for the retconned goodness that it is.
I could care less about one system outselling another (which probably happened around the same time the company with the highest selling console told its fans it wasnt going to give them the games they wanted :/), but I am glad to see that Sony has slowly gotten their shit together.

I meant the writing was in the same ballpark, as in re-occuring jokes, deep sarcasm and a strong ensemble cast. Not that theyre actually anything alike.

As Veritas said, pirating is totally sound when you want to enjoy any form of art and are unable to do so given your current means (ie: willing to pay, but unable to find a justifiable price). Plus, its not like your money would be going to the developers anymore, so no harm done.

The idea is that you can heart someone you really agree with, and then their opinions stick out in a discussion wherever they may pop up. Sort of a passive thing to help your experience, but a nice thing.

Don't worry about your encounter score, it actually has nothing to do with your efficiency and everything to do with you exploiting your scouts mobility to finish the level in as few moves as possible. Its a nice replayability thing, but keeping your troops alive is not only more fun but more important.

I beat the game yesterday and loved it; its nowhere near perfect, but its made by people who understand how to make a deep, satisfying game, not to mention (as Kirk puts it) know and love the genre its rooted in.
