Dont be mislead by all the DLC trophies, the only online ones are playing on game of co-op and one game of competitive multiplayer. You only need the core trophies to get the platinum.

What would be extra funny is if some company that actually cared about its fans had to buy the publishing rights from Nintendo, and Nintendo walked away with a pile of cash while the other company, bless their hearts, was stuck having to hype up and publish a game everyone went and pirated out of spite.

Its harder to admit that not everything is actually worth playing and that we waste way too much of our precious time/money/brain function playing video games than it is to wait for price drops and not play anything. Oh man, hard mode is insane! I played it on the PS2 mainly as well, give or take a couple runs through with my brother on the PSP version, and anyone who can play through either on hard has my utmost respect.
