Ah, okay, the last game I remember buying new from that generation was Silent Hill at 30 dollars- though wasnt last generation 50 dollars-ish for new games?

The word "art" simultaneously includes both everything and nothing, since its an abstract idea that exists different within the head of every person that understands it.

PSX games were all 30-40 dollars, unless Im remembering the good old days incorrectly. Also I think Legends 1 was a greatest hit (20 dollars)

Worth mentioning is that in reviews so far reviewers claim the combat is deep and "rhythmic", which goes against the impressions a lot of us have gotten from the demo- so hopefully theres much more than meets the eye.

Theres a listing on Ebay for all three Megaman Legends games, but its 160-ish for all three. So expensive!

Just from observation it seems the 360 has the better shooter community, while the PS3 has the better fighting game community. Other than that its really luck of the draw, as Ive had great experience and horrible experiences on both of them, and not enough of either to say one clearly wins out.

Its certainly an interesting design choice having three of the most prominent voices in video games featured as three of the main characters, all using a particular accent that makes it seem like theyre different voice actors.

Yes, and I think youre playing with PC users as well, although I might be mistaken

Not to sound creepy but what system do you have dead rising 2 for? If you have a ps3 and want to co-op your way through it, feel free to add me (psn:pantsmith) because I also have it on my backlog.

Now playing

Hey Kotaku, why arent you playing Shadows of the Damned right now? Just listen to this soundtrack!

If Blood Meridian was a movie it would be my favorite western. Since its a book, I guess The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Silent Hill 1 didnt scare you? Back when that game hit it was absolute unintelligible madness- the years since have only robbed it of its mystery.

I actually love the lore so much that I re-subscribe and play through each expansion as its released just to see it first hand. I even hate the game and am willing to suffer through it to see all the pretty art and meet all the new faces, which I guess is sort of pathetic in a way.

Its art noveau-esque; typically characterized by its play with bold outlines, curved/mirrored patterns and focus on the female/feminine figure

Whoah, she was the one shouting PK Fire all those times? Mind blown.

Please tell me you intentionally forgot about the PC :p

@MrSpyder

Yeah, you put it really well. El Shaddai seems to be merely okay with amazing art, while this game plays beautifully.

Uh, wat?
