So this is awesome and all, but what I'd really love to see are examples of the print-outs or templates used for this while they were still flat! The level of detail is so insanely high that it's hard for me to wrap (derp) my head around the fact that it's actually made from planar, un-molded pieces of paper.

Actually (assuming you're not one sarcasm step ahead of me) you're totally correct! There are many topless protests across the country demonstrating against laws which only bar women from walking around without a shirt.

True story - My computer just dropped frames on that GIF.

To be fair, every iteration of Batman (and for that matter any frequently revisited character) is going to have its own level of violence. This sounds like a new high for the Arkham game series, if not so much for the entire Batman mythos.

Hey! I keep a box of tissues by my computer, too!

At this point, for full theatrical effect I hung my head low and assumed the pose of a guilty Japanese citizen, as depicted in a medium-budget '80s Hollywood film. I made myself reek of dishonor.

Didn't even know these signs had lowercase

Italy is a weird one.

I actually had a weird experience. I started playing on PC at the default difficulty and actually had a pretty tough time. Later, I moved on to the console version and, again, found myself dying a lot. Finally, I tried playing on the hardest available difficulty (whatever that is out of the box) and was greeted by

Have you noticed buzzing sounds or low hums in a lot of the rooms you're in? They represent hidden things in the rooms, and you really have only finished a room once you've pretty much quieted the room down. What they're doing is asking you to pay attention, to look at everything, listen to everything and then act.

MM takes for granted a few things regarding gameplay. Story-wise you could sum up everything you need to know from OoT in one or two sentences, but if you're unfamiliar with how OoT (or at least post-2D Zelda) plays, the additional mechanics of MM may overwhelm you early on; the first hour and a half, especially, can

"Make it different. NO, NOT LIKE THAT!"

Thankfully there was another option - write an article on a high traffic website. I know it's not an enduring or available solution, but at least this story brings visibility to the problem.

Well yeah, but the waist cut-ins are sort of... contrived.

This is a little weird, Lego...

Wonderful news!

Did the first one ever make it to PC? I loved the crap out of that game for my 64, totally sold me on the expansion pack idea.

Plenty of source games have. Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, although it is an engine with a full API, I imagine it has an IDE with scripting access to make development easier for smaller groups. I doubt this would be an actual blocker to an inventory system, but it may not be so straight forward to someone unfamiliar

I guess that makes sense. Still, the video above makes it look like they have no shortage of talent, and if the Source IDE is anything like other engines', it really shouldn't be that hard to throw in a basic inventory system.

Oh jeez, I had totally forgotten about the computer-melting monster that was E.Y.E.
