This is going to be my attempt to “explain/rationalize” some of the crazy shit going on in this movie.

I wonder if this came out of Covid? A lot easier, cheaper and safer to film episodes of a series if all the main actors are by themselves for the most part, or with at least very few cast members on screen together.
I get the sentiment, but in this case it goes against the very reason for the existence of Dr. Strange, the sorcerer supreme (and the other sorcerers of his order). His, and their, whole point is to protect the earth against magical threats. The fact that he doesn’t even show up, just one state away from his home…
Exactly this. His whole deal is to protect the world from magical threats. If he can’t even bother to protect a whole town, just one state away from him, then he is piss poor at his job. Especially if the awakening of a Scarlet Witch is such a very, big, bad magical event historically.
I would watch a show just centered around Steve.
I agree about it being so long that I’m pretty much indifferent to S4, I actually always forget about the show completely until io9 mentions it, but I really liked S3, it was my favorite of the seasons so far.
They don’t need to recast him, they just need to change the character’s name to Wally West. Almost every live action version of The Flash, especially this one, keeps the Barry Allan name, but the character is written as Wally West. Young and impulsive and unsure of his powers, just like Wally was originally (in the…
I always wondered how they dig up such a big site like this. Obviously they aren’t using little hand shovels and dental tools like they usually show archeologists using in documentaries. To dig down that deep, over that large of an area, that quickly, they must be using bigger tools and machinery. At least at first,…
My guess is Walker will get one of the last vials of the super soldier serum by the end of this series and take it, just after, or just before becoming a bad guy.
Even then they probably wouldn’t sell the rights. If they were down so bad that they were about to fold, they would instead be bought out by another company (possibly even Disney if it was allowed to buy them, but probably a different film studio like WB, Legendary, or one of the big ones from China or Dubai) in which…
But what about Top Gun 2? Surprisingly (to me) that that is one of the movies I was most looking forward to after seeing the trailer.
While I agree, but if anyone was going to EP this series it should be GRRM. He and Zelazny, along with a few other great Sci-fi and fantasy writers, were all friends and they played in TTRPG campaigns together. It was from playing a superhero TTRPG together that they all came up with The Wildcards universe, which is…
I agree. I would have loved to have seen more of Leto’s version of the Joker. He was horribly mis-used in SS (but then so were most of the characters, that movie was such crap) but I think he had (still has) potential. I liked how he wasn’t the same as Heath Ledger’s Joker.
Marvel is still involved, just not (maybe) the MCU Marvel people, but still a division of Marvel working with Sony. Just like Marvel people were involved in the FOX X-Men and FF movies. I mean, if we want to get down to super semantics, Marvel doesn’t make any of the decisions for the MCU either, Disney does.
Now this is a little “out there”, but they have said that this series ties in with the next Doctor Strange movie, which is all about the multiverse... so, maybe this series is taking place in an alternate universe? One where Vision didn’t die? Maybe this is our first look at an alternate Earth and timeline? Maybe this…
Oh yeah, for sure is false. I work in film and if they were actually doing close to 50 takes each scene they would be lucky to be finishing one scene a day, and that is normal scenes, forget about action scenes with stunts, combat, or lots of background performers.
And “Red Barchetta”, one of the best road trip songs ever, was based on the sci-fi short story “A Nice Morning Drive”.
I think an “easier” solution would just be that “Vampires’s with Souls” aren’t immortal like regular vampires are. Since Angel and Spike are the only two with souls it is only the two of them that age.
George Lucas? And if not, I wonder when they will get him to do an episode? Maybe saving him for the series finale?
I agree, but what I am also happy about (although not seen in these photos, but in other photos from the same source) is that Clint’s family is also back in the series, including his daughter and sons. I am interested in how his daughter and Kate Bishop might get along, since previously in the MCU they seemed to be…
