There has most certainly been situations where games on steam have been review bombed and their initial sales are devastated beyond redemption. Often, those reviews aren’t reviews at all, they’re just straight up complaints or hate mail that have the power to influence sales versus future change to the game.

This article does a good job of explaining a turning point in gaming history that I thin for lack of a better word has been labeled, ‘early access’. I believe the ever updated game is just the next step in how games are not only released, but also an evolution of sequels.

You know, the game carries nostalgia for me like Castlevania does for other people. I still love the music and gameplay. But, it is an old school game. It doesnt have the fluid style of Zelda or Streets of Rage.
