I love that Australians aren’t afraid to put down serious cash to buy and then convert to RHD vehicles not normally sold in Oz.

I can, because I did.

Is nobody remembering the Jeep Gladiator they destroyed? that beautiful J10!

What I really remember about the film was the way they made Dodge minivans seem cool. Who would have guessed?

Twister was essentially a longer and better produced Dodge ad.

Chuck Norris drove a Ram as Walker, Texas Ranger. I thought the trucks were cool before that, but that really cemented it for me.

I was a wee lad of 4-6 ish, and it didn’t phase me. Then again, the best trucks were monster trucks and my dad’s ‘59 Chevy Apache, both of which are way more badass than a stock Ram in the eyes of wee lil’ Butts

that was me , but 7. I was obsessed with that truck and made my parents buy me a similar die-cast model.

The movie that killed Van Halen’s career and the film that immortalized the line “Is there an F5?” And yet the three trucks are still the biggest stars, with that ‘90 Chevrolet Suburban, ‘94 Dodge Ram 1500, and ‘82 Jeep Honcho. I still grieve for the Honcho every time I see that movie.

As an adult aficionado of the full-size Jeep, I mostly remembered the upward exit of the yellow J-10... Now there’s a handsome half-ton (at least before its tete-a-tete with a bridge abutment, followed by a brief visit to Oz...)

Truth be told, I don’t need too... And yep, it looked like a bad-ass truck to me then.

Its why I own my Ram today

I was 10 when Twister came out. And it was GLORIOUS.

I think many guys were more excited seeing Helen Hunt in the Ram than Bill Paxton. I was mostly just excited about the Ram.

Now playing

Iraq, but I’m guessing this was similar to your predicament?

The Buick Avista. Call it a Cadillac if you must*, but build it, and power it by a twin-turbo V8.

Only with that 4-banger though. Manuals were never offered on the 6 cylinder.

welp... now that i know this is a thing.. i had to order it for the missus

Leave it as is. Radwood is this weekend!

I know this will lose the popular vote and 345HP is laughable today but in the mid eighties that plus 465 lb. ft of torque and a top speed near 180MPH was no joke.
