I’ve been saying for months that Trump is literally a comic book villain.
Car engines are most efficient at lowish rpm and full load (throttle). Furthermore, full throttle to near redline in bursts help to starve off carbon build up.
You must be new to jalopnik if you have never used 100% of your throttle.
Dude, I go WOT at least once EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. For real. I mash the gas all the fucking time. I figured that’s why it goes all the way down, so you can mash it that far. Why are you posting on Jalopnik?
Your assumption is that people want to learn to be better drivers. The fact of the matter is more and more drivers view their cars as appliances. Who reads the manual on their toaster anymore let alone their car manual? In America, our DMV testing is worse than a joke. It seems the only requirement to get a…
The reason I remember being told in driver’s ed to not do that is the large possibility that during a panic stop the driver will accidentally mash both pedals.
I don’t think that you really understand what is going on.
They cannot provide the data. Only the owner of the car can. It’s a Federal law.
Are you referencing the scam artist that said his balljoints were failing, but was PROVEN to have taken pictures of junkyard Tesla parts as his own?
You failed to mention the most important political opponent: the Idiot Reagan, who defunded the agency responsible for promoting the switch to metric. If we’d kept going on conversion, we would have been done years ago.
We’ll convert to metric the same year the Quebecois stop speaking French. (Think how much more *convenient* that would be!)
Add 10% of the starting amount, not the result.
I think he meant 10% of original kph speed, not half of that.
All those times I can’t remember the metric conversion ratio, but can remember the fibonacci sequence?
Wouldn’t it be great if the US finally converted to metric?
That third option is an effective vote for Trump.
I don’t know, man. After Nixon’s embarrassing resignation, the Republicans still controlled the Executive Branch for 14 of the next 20 years.
If Republicans were smart—if they were a rational political party able to act in their own best interests—they’d impeach Trump as soon as possible.
