That argument implies that companies won’t always go after more money if they can. I don’t think cost has anything to do with the fact that a business’ goal is to make money. Therefore if there’s a way to make more of it they will take it.

As an aspiring illustrator, it makes me happy to see mistakes like this. Because that means that even awesome, professional artists aren’t perfect, even on debut posters.

I’ve put 77 hours into the game and just can’t bring myself to play any further. The game is just so barebones that it has actually made me resent it. Everything iconic to Metal Gear is absent from this game and the drip-fed story is the final straw.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that they don’t own it. If they could just do whatever they want just because they made it they would have made a Demon’s Souls 2.

I never said there was legal protection. I was pointing out that games have been copying each other for the entire history of gaming so I don’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of this acting like someone’s going to get sued.

If that were the case From Software would have been sued for making Dark Souls. And the guys who made Lords of the Fallen would have been too.
