I usually think of e-waste as being “electronics that have reached the end of their useful life and must be trashed / recycled / reclaimed”, but I’m not seeing how that applies to this office. That’s a great question. Without being too much of a psychology or music nerd, I think I’d have to say it’s because we don’t just enjoy music for itself - we enjoy it because songs are cultural artifacts that carry associations with them.
