It's not really clear from the article if the budget breakdown is total household income or just personal income for the profiled individual. 'Jeanette' may make $60k, but her husband may make that too (full time at a law firm).

Same here. Le Pan TC970 is an excellent tablet for the money - was $169 on amazon.ca pre-Christmas. I find the build quality and hardware to be excellent for the money. Froyo sucks, but at least it's stable.
Also worthy of mention - never have children. They are sleep's kryptonite.
I'm not sure it's just Android specific - I had mucho GPS problems with my iPhone 3G, especially after upgrading to iOS4.
"the study bean", beloved of students everywhere. Or possibly there's a missing space. And yes, sorry, I'm a pedant.
"The Best Text Messaging Replacement for iPhone"... if you live in the United States. The rest of you can piss off, or use textPlus
Amen to that. Although I think we need a few more actual people in Nova Scotia before the blue and yellow party will come (back) to town. An additional 500,000 bodies in HRM should do it.

Thanks for the link - i heart science + whiskey.
...and another one here (mother-in-law at least)!
Indeed - $3.99 a month, plus the cost of a second iDevice equals too expensive
Another rebuttal - my wife has agreed to cutting the cable after getting hooked on the HTPC and netflix (Canada) combo. Same situation for our neighbours (w/kids of 2 & 4 years old) - Netflix + HTPC wins there too. Basically, it can be done.
+0.5... she's definitely a bit "me-me-me". She's created a blogging site with free user-generated content, published under her personal banner/name/brand... she's the Arianna Huffington of DIY furniture.
It's a good idea - easy to access camera without putting down the bag too...
Try [cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com] - both entertaining and delicious
Agreed! uTorrent + ezRSS seem to be a lot more reliable for me than TED or TVTrigger... much more lightweight too.
@kijoshua: Amen. Well said. Etc. I don't mind scrolling down. Gives my middle finger a workout.
Totally agree! The article singles out phrase matching results as particularly annoying - these seem almost guaranteed to not have anything relevant to your search.
@Criosphynx: "blow", "squander" or "fritter-away" would all work fairly well in the context of such fancy-pantery.
